What kind of photographer brings a keyboard around with him? This one, that’s who. I’ve always been a firm believer that you should always bring along one thing that you absolutely don’t need when you go on an adventure. Everyone you go with will always have the same necessary things, but you are unique, because you have something that nobody has. It’s important to be yourself no matter what you are doing, and bringing along something unnecessary is a great way to take some pressure off of yourself and potentially set yourself up for future success! Perhaps you need an excuse to pack something that you are unsure about needing, if you realize you need more space the second before you leave you can always take out the thing you don’t need, and most importantly, it’s nice to have a decision all to yourself with no risks involved whatsoever, especially when you are caught up in something as stressful as packing. I mean, the entire point is to bring something you don’t need, so you really can’t mess it up. It’s these little things that have made my life so much more enjoyable, both for myself and when I get to spend time with others.
